J. Johannesson Gaitán holds an MSc in Literature and Transatlanticism from the University of Edinburgh, where she currently lives and works at the Scottish Poetry Library. She made her first transatlantic crossing from Stockholm to Bogotá at the age of one and wants to write a novel based on continental-drift theory.
